IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/19/14 -- Developers using the Embarcadero Technologies' Appmethod multi-device development platform for native apps can now easily insert advanced, user-friendly cloud-based authentication with SecureAuth 2-Factor as a Service (2FaaS). Available as the only two-factor authentication option for the Appmethod platform, SecureAuth 2FaaS uses one-touch authentication approval through SecureAuth's hosted PUSH services to deliver consistent, controlled access to cross platform applications.
"The availability of SecureAuth 2-Factor as a Service on Appmethod integrates authentication at the most secure level, during application development," commented Darin Pendergraft, Vice President of Marketing at SecureAuth Corporation. "Developers will find 2FaaS easy to call, while users will find the authentication process seamless and unobtrusive."
SecureAuth 2FaaS is a cloud-hosted authentication solution that offers flexible security without compromising user experience. 2FaaS enables both enterprises and OEMs to implement two-factor authentication without on-premise hardware, coding, or data synchronization while still maintaining internal control of data and users' access.
"Multifactor authentication is a security capability that many developers and end users can benefit from in native apps and SecureAuth has delivered tightly integrated components that are robust and easy to use within Appmethod," commented Michael Swindell, Senior Vice President of Products at Embarcadero Technologies. "Most unique about SecureAuth 2FaaS Appmethod components are the device fingerprinting capabilities that automatically recognize the user after the first authentication. We are happy to have SecureAuth available as part of the Appmethod eco-system."
SecureAuth will provide a free trial license with the Appmethod license.
