AgilOne, the cloud-based predictive marketing company, today announced that it has hired two new executives, Ted Farrell, chief technology officer, and Dan Moore, vice president of customer success. The new executives joined AgilOne on the heels of the company’s Series C funding round to support its rapid growth. Farrell and Moore will join AgilOne on its mission to arm everyday marketers with predictive analytics technology.
Ted Farrell has more than 25 years of experience building and delivering software. Farrell joins AgilOne from Badgeville where he was the chief technology officer who was responsible for leading the development of the company’s cloud-based gamification platform for customers like American Express, Oracle, Samsung and Philips Electronics. Prior to Badgeville, Farrell was the chief architect and SVP of tools and middleware at Oracle where he led top-performing engineering organizations. He also held CTO positions at the startups Webgain, Inc., Tendril Software and NovaSoft Systems, and he has obtained five U.S. technology patents.
Dan Moore has more than 20 years of experience managing services organizations at both early stage companies and global consulting firms. He comes to AgilOne from RightScale where he led the transformation of the services organization to support both SMB customers and complex, enterprise-class customers. Prior to Right Scale, Moore worked for Cast Iron Systems where he oversaw all aspects of customer success and retention during a 400% increase in the company’s account base through its successful acquisition by IBM. Moore also held management positions at Accenture, Avaya, and Lockheed Martin. He holds both a B.A. in finance and an M.B.A. with a concentration in decision science from the University of Florida.
“We’re looking forward to having Ted Farrell drive endless technology innovation while Dan Moore drives customers to be successful with the AgilOne platform,” said Omer Artun, founder and CEO of AgilOne. “Both executives possess top-notch skill sets that will enable AgilOne to continue on its rapid growth path, and we’ll work collaboratively to ensure marketers gain optimal value from customer data that lets them make important business decisions.”
