Samsung Electronics America today announced that it received three awards at InfoComm 2014, an annual event for the professional audiovisual and information communication industries, held June 18-20 in Las Vegas. Samsung was honored for its leadership in commercial display technology and integrated solutions, earning a NewBay Media Best of InfoComm Award, Rental & Staging Systems New Product Award and Systems Contractor News Installation Product Award. Samsung showcased its full lineup of commercial displays at booth #C6319, including the new UHD QMD Series, in addition to a number of new solutions that address the market demand for larger, visually impactful displays.

NewBay Media’s first annual Best of Show Awards honored outstanding products exhibited at InfoComm 2014. Winners were selected by panels of professional users and editors based on information provided during a nomination process, as well as judges’ inspection at the show. Samsung’s new QMD Series UHD commercial display lineup was awarded Best of Show by Digital Signage Magazine for offering a slim, full-featured and dependable choice for customers looking to make the step up from HD to UHD.
Rental & Staging Systems New Product Award
Designed to showcase the most innovative new commercial AV products, NewBay Media’s Rental & Staging Systems awards honored new products introduced between July 2013 and March 2014. The Samsung D Series commercial displays, named Best Digital Signage Product, introduce a flexible new design approach that enables users to customize signage to match any environment. The winners were honored at a ceremony on June 17.
Systems Contractor News (SCN) Installation Product Award
The SCN InfoComm Installation Product Awards showcase the most innovative commercial AV products of 2014 across 18 categories. SCN named the Samsung Smart Signage Platform, designed to provide a simpler path to deployment for organizations looking to transition from static signage to dynamic digital displays, as Most Innovative Digital Signage Product, Content Driver.
