Aldridge Enters Austin Market with Acquisition of Clyde Bennett & Associates

Provider of EMR software solutions and IT support will operate as an Aldridge subsidiary

Aldridge (www.aldridge.com), a provider of information technology (IT) outsourcing with elite first-response support, has established a strong foothold in the important Austin, Texas market. Aldridge announced the completion of its acquisition of Clyde Bennett & Associates (www.cwbserv.com), a reseller of electronic medical records (EMR) solutions that also provides IT services for medical practices throughout the United States.

Aldridge has retained the Clyde Bennett & Associates name for its new Austin subsidiary.

The acquired company’s founder, Clyde Bennett, remains as President of the subsidiary.

Aldridge has retained all Clyde Bennett & Associates employees.

This is the second acquisition in less than a month for Aldridge, which recently announced the acquisition of Houston-based IS Support, Inc. Clyde Bennett & Associates adds deep capabilities in healthcare, which is a market that Aldridge considers a growth opportunity.
