Hospitality Technology Now Accepting Nominations for 2014 Restaurant Breakthrough Awards

Hospitality Technology Magazine Seeks to Honor Restaurant Companies for Outstanding Business Innovation

RANDOLPH, NJ -- (Marketwired) -- 06/23/14 -- Hospitality Technology (HT) magazine is pleased to accept nominations for the 2014 Breakthrough Awards. The Breakthrough Awards honor foodservice companies for outstanding achievement in business innovation. The awards are presented to operators for leveraging groundbreaking operations, technology and/or marketing strategies to improve customer engagement and/or the overall enterprise. The submission deadline is August 1, 2014.

The HT Breakthrough Awards are given in two categories:

Enterprise Innovator - This is presented to the company that has leveraged a specific strategy or technology beyond standard practice to improve overall restaurant operations. Results should reveal an increase or marked improvement in efficiency, cost savings, etc. Areas of innovation can include, but are not limited to: back-office and/or front-of-house applications, labor management, point-of-sale technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise-grade mobile applications.

Customer Engagement Innovator - This is presented to the company that has leveraged a specific strategy or technology to increase guest satisfaction, loyalty, and/or brand reputation. Potential concepts can include, but are not limited to: mobile applications, social networking, loyalty and CRM.

HT's editor-in-chief, Abigail Lorden, encourages restaurant companies from across the industry to submit a nomination. To nominate a company, please fill out the nomination form no later August 1, 2014. Winners shall be notified on or about August 7, 2014 and awards will be presented at the 10th annual Restaurant Executive Summit on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Technology vendors are encouraged to nominate hotel companies, but are not themselves eligible to receive an award.

The 2014 Restaurant Executive Summit, held November 3-5 at the Ritz-Carlton in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is produced by Hospitality Technology, and brings together senior-level restaurant executives from high-growth foodservice companies to share strategic insights and tactical analyses on the issues that are critical to businesses today.
