Chamberlain MyQ Integration with Nest Brings Peace of Mind and Energy Savings to Consumers as they Leave and Enter the Home

Chamberlain Group, Inc. (www.chamberlain.com) announced today that its Chamberlain® MyQ® will be among the earliest products to integrate with Nest (www.nest.com) through the Nest Developer Program. As a Works with Nest product, MyQ will allow users to easily and quickly set their Nest Learning Thermostat™ to “Home” and “Away” modes from within the MyQ app. Additionally, when people open the garage door upon arriving home, MyQ can tell their Nest Thermostat they’re home. When they close the garage door on their way out, the thermostat can go into Away mode so they don’t waste energy heating or cooling an empty home.
