Procore Releases CurrentSet, a Free Drawing Management App

Procore Technologies Inc., the leader in cloud-based construction management software, announces the release of CurrentSet by Procore, a free drawing management app available for both iOS and Android devices. With CurrentSet by Procore, project teams no longer run the risk of building off of outdated drawings. CurrentSet helps construction teams collaborate on project drawings, giving them the power to view, mark up and share plans. The CurrentSet apps and the companion cloud-based application work on iPads, iPhones, Android devices, and laptop or desktop computers. Work completed offline is automatically synced and updated when a user is back online, making CurrentSet by Procore the easiest free solution to manage drawings from the job site.

As construction drawings undergo constant mark ups and changes during the construction process, it’s essential that project team members have immediate access to the most up-to-date version of project plans. Redlining, reprinting, and redistributing paper-based drawings is expensive and almost impossible to manage in a timely manner. CurrentSet by Procore saves users thousands of dollars in reduced printing costs for drawing revisions, and hundreds of hours lost to manual distribution of new drawing sets to project team members.

“CurrentSet by Procore brings the power of Procore’s drawing management technology to everyone in the construction industry at zero cost,” notes Procore CEO Tooey Courtemanche. “We want construction project teams to be able to easily experience the value of Procore’s solutions, even if they’re not ready to invest in Procore’s comprehensive project management solution. CurrentSet by Procore allows any construction professional to get real value for free, and then add Procore’s features and functionality whenever they want.”

CurrentSet organizes construction drawings into one master set, with Procore’s technology used to automatically name and number every individual sheet. CurrentSet’s automatic version tracking prioritizes the most recent drawing set to ensure project teams never work off of outdated drawings again. Project teams can review and mark up drawings with annotations or text comments, approve changes, and distribute updated plan sets to their entire project team in a matter of minutes.

CurrentSet is free for everyone. CurrentSet uses the same great technology for the drawing management tool that was previously only available to Procore customers. In addition to drawing management, Procore offers an entire suite of project management tools to help project teams share and collaborate on project documents, photos, contracts, directories, schedules, submittals, RFIs and more.
