INetU and Aerospike Partner to Fuel Performance and Profits for Customers

INetU, the customer-centric cloud company, today announced a partnership with Aerospike to enable quick deployment of its predictable, high-performance in-memory NoSQL database for mission-critical, highly scalable applications. The combined solution is ideal for companies that need the performance and scalability to process big data instantly, such as those in real-time bidding and cross-channel marketing and for accelerating dynamic web portals and mobile applications.

The combination of Aerospike and INetU enables customers to experience 100% higher performance, when compared to running Aerospike on Amazon Web Services’ i2.4xlarge instances with Solid State Drives (SSDs). By leveraging an INetU environment optimized for Aerospike, running at wire-speed, transactions per second (TPS) rates achieved by the solution include:

  • 140K TPS for a balanced 50% read / 50% write workload
  • 280K TPS for a read heavy 90% read / 10% write workload

The tests were performed on a two-node Aerospike cluster, where each node consisted of a Dell Poweredge server built out with SSD storage. Randomly distributed data consisting of one million records, each with 16-byte string keys and 1.5KB string values were loaded into Aerospike. The cluster was set to a replication factor of two (one master and one replica of the data), and the system performed writes with synchronous replication for immediate consistency.
