bswift and GetInsured Announce Private Health Insurance Exchange Partnership

GetInsured to Provide Individual Health Insurance Plans for the bswift Springboard Marketplace

CHICAGO, IL and MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - June 26, 2014) - bswift, a leader in cloud-based technology and services for employee benefits and health exchanges, today announced a partnership with GetInsured, a leading health insurance exchange platform. GetInsured will provide employers who use the bswift Springboard Marketplace -- a cloud-based private health and benefits exchange -- with access to individual health insurance plans for employees who do not qualify for sponsored plans, including part-time workers, pre-65 retirees and those who are COBRA-eligible.

The GetInsured exchange seamlessly integrates with the bswift Springboard Marketplace, allowing employers to instantly offer those employees who are ineligible for group plans access to a broad array of ACA-compliant health insurance options as well as the ability to claim tax credits. Employees can shop for and enroll in a health insurance plan via a user-friendly web or mobile shopping experience, or with the assistance of a licensed broker through the GetInsured customer care center, which can serve customers in more than 200 languages. GetInsured is certified by the federal government to enroll Americans in subsidized health insurance, appointed with more than 275 insurance carriers and fully licensed to advise consumers in 50 states.

"Providing employees with access to affordable health insurance is shown to help employers recruit and retain talent, as well as foster loyalty and productivity among their employees," said Chini Krishnan, GetInsured co-founder and CEO. "Since our founding in 2005, GetInsured has been dedicated to helping Americans find health coverage that fits their needs and their budget. We are proud to help employers who recognize the vital role health insurance plays in employees' lives and well-being and we are pleased to be working with bswift to bring the GetInsured marketplace to more families."

"We understand that employers are looking for new ways to connect employees with affordable health insurance while also reducing their own costs," noted Don Garlitz, Executive Director, Exchange Solutions, bswift. "The addition of GetInsured's consumer-friendly technology and talented customer care team to the Springboard Marketplace will allow our clients to provide easy access to a range of products for every situation."
