Since establishing a manufacturing facility in Frederick County in 1999, HP Hood has expanded its manufacturing capacity in 2001, 2004, 2010, and most recently a project that is currently underway. HP Hood continues to invest in new equipment and technologies and is working toward achieving zero-waste-to-landfill in all plants.
"Thanks to HP Hood's processing plant in Winchester, we are able to offer our customers a coast-to-coast processing solution," said Marc Humphreys, Hood's Director of Operations, "We're proud to be an integral part of the community, and we're honored to receive this recognition."
