More Than Gourmet CEO Wins EY Entrepreneur of the Year - NEO

CLEVELAND, OH -- (Marketwired) -- 07/02/14 -- On June 26th, in Cleveland, Ohio, the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year winners for Northeast Ohio were announced. Brad Sacks, More Than Gourmet CEO & Founder, is the award winner in the Consumer and Retail Products & Services category. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

In his acceptance speech last evening, Mr. Sacks stated, "I thank my family for their support, SS&G for nominating me, but most of all the terrific team I have at More Than Gourmet who strive daily to build upon my vision."

A total of 1,500 nominees in 9 business categories in the NEO region were rigorously evaluated through an independent panel of experts from all industries. The list was narrowed down to a group of 4 finalists in each category, and the winners then go on to the National Finals.

Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year winners are based on "their demonstrated vision, innovation, courage and leadership in building and growing a successful company."

As a Northeast Ohio award winner, Brad Sacks is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 15, 2014. The awards are the culminating event of the EY Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation's most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
