Smoking Vapor Set to Open Five Retail Locations Throughout Greater Phoenix

Smoking Vapor, one of the fastest growing eCigarette companies in the region based in Phoenix, has opened a new store in the Arcadia area at 2303 North 44th Street, Phoenix. The location is a 1,200 square foot retail space with a sophisticated, modern design to create a dramatic backdrop for its SV brand high-end eCigarettes, eCigars and vaping products. The space will also serve as company headquarters with an additional 2,500 square feet of office/warehouse space.

Smoking Vapor plans to open three additional stores in August with locations underway in Chandler, Mesa and Thunderbird, and a fifth retail location this January in Avondale. “Our goal is to have retail locations throughout the Valley by early 2015,” said Chief Operating Officer Geoff Habicht. The company is looking into space in Tempe, North Scottsdale and Old town Scottsdale. Currently SV also has kiosk locations at Chandler Fashion Mall, Superstition Mesa Mall and Arrowhead Mall, which the company will close over time as retail locations launch.

“Smoking Vapor stores are about creating a unique experience for customers that sets us apart from a typical vapor shop,” Habicht said. “We’re more than a retailer – we’re also the manufacturer – that means we control quality and taste. We’ve been in the business more than six years with deep interaction with customers, making us very connected to smokers and aware of their preferences.”

“Making the switch from cigarettes to electronic products is a process and SV helps smokers every step of the way toward a better alternative,” he said.

“Certainly we want the stores to grow profitably, but our objective for the store is to serve not sell. We want a personal and emotional connection with our customers as well as an opportunity for constant feedback. The stores enable us to interact in real time, which is beyond valuable.”

Smoking Vapor also has a booming online business serving more than 20,000 customers. Backed by educated customer care reps in the call center, www.smokingvapor.com strives to emulate the in-person experience as well as extends the company’s global reach.

“Our goal is to create the best multi-channel experience in the industry for customers, one that focuses on developing real relationships,” Habicht said.

Alternative to Smoking Products

Unlike traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes emit water vapor, not smoke, and don't cloak users in a smoky, tobacco smell. An eCigarette has only four chemicals while traditional smokes contain 4,000. An e-cigarette also enable users to regulate how much nicotine they inhale — allowing people who hope to quit to gradually decrease how much of the addictive chemical they use over time.

"Nearly everyone who switches is very surprised, and very pleased, by the satisfaction they get from SV products,” said Habicht.
