SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/10/14 -- SpectraScience, Inc. (OTCQB: SCIE), a medical device company utilizing light technologies to detect and diagnose cancers, announced today that its 2014 annual meeting of shareholders will be held at the law offices of Fredrikson & Byron, PA, located at 200 South Sixth Street, Suite 4000, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55402 on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:30 AM Central Time.
The company announced that July 11, 2014, has been fixed as the record date for determination of the shareholders of the company entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the annual meeting.
Also, the company announced that it will hold an investor conference call on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern (1:30 p.m. Pacific) to provide an update on its business and conduct a question and answer session for those who were not able to attend the annual meeting.
