David Selakovic Promotes Vegalab's New Champion Product Nematode Control

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND -- (Marketwired) -- 07/14/14 -- Vegalab, an internationally acclaimed manufacturer of sustainable agricultural products, has developed a brand-new product named Nematode Control, which is proven to combat nematode problems in a variety of crops and turfs. Within the last two months, Nematode Control was applied by a number of prestigious country clubs in Florida that were all struggling with serious nematode infestations showing the typical symptoms of weak and thin turf grass, or even entire patches of dead grass. The selected country clubs applied Nematode Control once every 15 days for a period of 45 days. The results were astounding: visibly greener, denser and healthier grass that showed a dramatic improvement compared to the state of the grass before the application of Nematode Control.

Given these great results, Vegalab's CEO, Jill Duggan, and its President, David Selakovic, have announced plans to incorporate Nematode Control in the fight against crop and turf problems across all of the United States. Thanks to the all-natural composition of the innovative and environmentally friendly product, state registration is not required. Nematode Control is based on Vegalab's micronization technology, which has shown an efficacy of more than 80% when tested on a wide array of crops, including cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries and melons, and significantly reduced the population of parasitic nematodes. The product has already demonstrated great results in Asia and Costa Rica and after the recent success stories in Florida, Vegalab is ready to conquer new markets including California, Wisconsin, North Carolina, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

David Selakovic, who oversees the company's plant, laboratory and development in Geneva, Switzerland, is optimistic that professional farmers, hobby gardeners and golf course owners alike will greatly benefit from Nematode Control, which will allow them to reduce the amount of harmful nematodes without using chemicals that can be equally harmful to the grass, crop or soil. By developing Nematode Control, Selakovic and Vegalab stayed once again true to their motto of producing environmentally safe and sustainable solutions, which include, amongst others, natural pesticides and organic fertilizers. Vegalab is a global leader in its field and is represented with offices all over the world. At the European headquarter in Geneva Selakovic and his team are constantly developing new ideas and approaches to realize the company's vision of optimizing the world's resources to ensure a more efficient ecologically sound planet for future generations.

David Selakovic is known as a hugely successful and experienced entrepreneur, innovator and manager who keeps constantly pushing himself and his teams to find even better solutions and approaches that can be applied on a global scale. In the course of his career, Selakovic has been setting business trends and high standards in the information technology, medical, chemical, energy and marketing industries. As a result of this, Selakovic is an internationally sought-after advisor who has helped many companies to create high performance teams, develop innovative strategies and come up with tactile business initiatives. The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. Some talk about a DevOps culture but then reference activities that could lead to culture change and there are those that talk about culture change as a set of behaviors that need to be adopted by those in IT. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...

It's the vision of a world in which continuous Internet connectivity and addressability is embedded into a growing range of human artifacts, into the natural world, and even into our smartphones, appliances, a...

How do APIs and IoT relate? The answer is not as simple as merely adding an API on top of a dumb device, but rather about understanding the architectural patterns for implementing an IoT fabric. There are typically two or three trends: Exposing the device to a management framework Exposing that management framework to a business centric logic Exposing that business layer and data to end users. This last trend is the IoT stack, which involves a new shift in the separation of what stuff happe...
DevOps is all about agility. However, you don't want to be on a high-speed bus to nowhere. The right DevOps approach controls velocity with a tight feedback loop that not only consists of operational data but also incorporates business context. With a business context in the decision making, the right business priorities are incorporated, which results in a higher value creation. In his session at DevOps Summit, Todd Rader, Solutions Architect at AppDynamics, discussed key monitoring techniques...
