Warp 9 Launches WarpMobile Magento and Seeks to Become the Leading Magento Mobile Solutions Provider

The Company's Affordable and Standardized Mobile Solution Is Aimed at Serving a Large Unmet Need for Magento's 240,000 E-Commerce Customers

SANTA BARBARA, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/15/14 -- Warp 9, Inc. (OTCQB: WNYN), the premier provider of mobile and e-commerce solutions for midsize online sellers, today announced the official launch of WarpMobile Magento, an affordable and scalable mobile solution for Magento's 240,000 e-commerce websites.

The launch of WarpMobile Magento comes on the heels of the company's June announcement detailing Warp 9's growth in the mobile e-commerce space, specifically to serve the 240,000 businesses currently using Magento e-commerce solutions, of which approximately 85%-90% do not have a mobile platform. Warp 9's offering is in response to a booming industry where mobile commerce (m-commerce) is expected to account for 30% of all e-commerce sales by 2018, a 100% increase over 2013's figures.

Magento, owned by eBay, is recognized as the fastest growing e-commerce platform for online retailers and Fortune 500 enterprises, ranking third in terms of market share trailing IBM and Oracle. However, extending a Magento e-commerce website to mobile devices has been a costly and custom developed solution. Warp 9 intends to change that dramatically by offering a standardized solution that enables Magento users of any size to easily and quickly -- go mobile.

Warp 9 anticipates offering multi-tiered solutions providing affordable and efficient m-commerce solutions for small businesses, as well as powerful and robust platforms intended for enterprise level organizations such as Fortune 500 companies. The offerings; Express, Pro, and Enterprise, all provide the features and customization needed for mobile transactions without affecting server side business logic, allowing businesses of all sizes to focus on generating sales and increasing revenue.

For as little as $4,995 on WarpMobile Magento -- Express, Magento merchants can start converting their mobile web traffic into sales.

"Warp 9 has identified an immense market opportunity to become the leading Magento mobile solutions provider," said Andrew Van Noy, CEO of Warp 9, Inc. "Magento's impressive growth has resulted in our Magento mobile commerce solutions group receiving enormous interest in powerful, affordable and efficient mobile solutions that don't require rebuilding the desktop website and don't take months to build. After years of building custom mobile sites, we realized that there was big need for a standardized yet customizable mobile solution that could meet the demands of Magento merchants, and would be faster for us to build and easier for our customers to manage. That is how WarpMobile Magento was born."

WarpMobile Magento's framework is built to be independent of the desktop website's user interface as traditional responsive sites do. This allows Magento merchants to quickly customize the mobile user experience to meet the mobile user's expectations. In addition, WarpMobile Magento offers enhanced mobile features such as targeted mobile marketing, streamlined checkout using Paypal and Braintree mobile payments and mobile performance optimization.

Van Noy concluded, "As mobile sales grow internationally, we felt it was critical to build WarpMobile Magento to capture this growing market, as we look forward to working closely with Magento to continue providing both new and existing clients with solutions that fit their business model and drive revenue. This new offering will change the way Magento merchants interact with customers via mobile devices."

Recently, MobileCommerce Insider authored an article detailing Warp 9's launch of the mobile commerce solutions group to address the growing needs of its customer base, expanding its use of Magento platform technology.

The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...

How do APIs and IoT relate? The answer is not as simple as merely adding an API on top of a dumb device, but rather about understanding the architectural patterns for implementing an IoT fabric.
