ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - July 16, 2014) - Atlanta Business Radio hosts Lee Kantor and Stone Payton welcomed Aubriana Lopez into the studio to discuss the Location Based Marketing Association (LBMA) and how it helps Atlanta businesses identify more advertising and marketing opportunities.
The Location Based Marketing Association is a group dedicated to fostering a community of interest around all avenues of advertising and marketing as it relates to location-specific opportunities. This community is comprised of mobile, out-of-home, digital and print advertisers.
"Our mission is to focus on the intersection of people, places and media as location-based services by sharing best practices, educating members and promoting the industry from within," explained Lopez, president of the Atlanta Chapter of LBMA, and Lead Strategist for Digital Element.
The LBMA is a worldwide organization with 17 chapters in ten different countries, and the Atlanta chapter began in 2010. Some Atlanta companies that are LBMA members are Coca-Cola, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Weather Channel and Moe's Southwest Grill.
Lopez is also the Lead Strategist for Wireless, Hyperlocal and Mobile at Digital Element. Digital Element strives to bring new reach, relevance and revenue to its clients' online endeavors by delivering accurate IP to location data. By using geo-location based services within consumer mobile apps, Digital Element helps businesses show their customers relevant content and information.
