Amid Accelerating Growth Cycle Computing Adds Industry Leaders Tim Carroll and Rob Futrick to Management Team

Company Continues to Attract Top Talent in All Areas of Business

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 07/16/14 -- Celebrating a year of record-growth, Cycle Computing has added HPC executive and startup veteran Tim Carroll as Vice President of Business Development and Ecosystem; and has also promoted Rob Futrick to Chief Technical Officer (CTO). The buildout of the management team will leverage and accelerate rapid growth of revenue, new customers and core hours under management.

The company has steadily increased its market leadership with over 60% quarter over quarter revenue growth and a 10x increase core hours managed on an annual basis for the past three years. Mr. Carroll will manage Cycle's key industry partnerships and business development activities. He was most recently Executive Director of the Global HPC business as well as responsible for North American Cloud and Big Data sales. Prior to Dell, he focused exclusively on disruptive and high performance technologies, holding management roles at Digex, Linux Networx, and Platform Computing. Mr. Futrick is a seasoned entrepreneur who, as employee #3 at Cycle Computing, helped develop and manage every software technology the company has created. Futrick also has the most experience moving real client's production HPC workloads to the cloud, starting in 2008. As the CTO, Mr. Futrick will continue to manage the product roadmap and IP & patent portfolio, while directing engineering resources to maximize Cycle's ability to help customers.
