STI, a venture backed start up company, uses high tech equipment and specialty probes to test soil in vineyards and other agricultural crops. Mr. Fischer assisted in closing STI's Series A round of financing, participated in strategic planning with the company, supervised the accounting staff and attended all board meetings. Gary L. Fischer, based in Silicon Valley, has worked extensively in Asia and Europe.
