SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN -- (Marketwired) -- 07/25/14 -- Kenna Resources Corp., (TSX VENTURE: KNA) ("Kenna" or the "Corporation") announces that at its annual and special meeting (the "Annual Meeting") of shareholders held on July 23, 2014, all resolutions proposed to shareholders were duly passed, including: (1) setting the number of directors at three (3); (2) the election of the following individuals as directors of the Corporation: Timothy C. Fernback, Anthony K. Jackson and Steven D. M. Low; (3) the re-appointment of Ernst & Young LLP, Chartered Accountants, as auditors of the Corporation; (4) re-approval of the Corporation's 10% rolling stock option plan; and (5) a special resolution authorizing the continuance of the Corporation to British Columbia under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia).
The Corporation would like to thank Corey Giasson, Todd Lahti and Shane Shircliff, who did not stand for re-election as directors of the Corporation, for their contributions to Kenna.
Subsequent to the Annual Meeting, the Board re-appointed: Timothy C. Fernback as President and CEO and Anthony K. Jackson as CFO and Secretary.
