Ipswich Dental Office Offers Emergency Dental Care

Limestone Dental Group, that has been open for 60 years, is happy to offer emergency services to local residents in urgent need of dental care.

IPSWICH, QLD, Aug. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Officials estimate that as many as 12 percent of the population have a severe dental phobia that prevents them from going to the dentist on a regular basis. This is an issue of major concern to dentists because these patients often experience dental emergencies at some point due to lack of care. Ipswich dentist Dr. Ian Lupton of Limestone Dental Group sees these cases often, which is why he and his team now offer emergency dental services to local patients.

Dental emergencies include a knocked-out tooth, loose tooth, chipped tooth, cracked tooth, bleeding gum injuries and severe aching pain in the mouth. Because all of these situations can worsen if left untreated, seeking emergency dental care is crucial. Even an injured tooth that doesn't hurt is still vulnerable to bacteria that can lead to infection.

"Many patients will delay care because they feel their symptoms will improve or are afraid their dentist will not be able to fit them in," says Ipswich emergency dentist Dr. Lupton. "However, our office will always help to fit in patients with dental emergencies so they experience pain relief as quickly as possible."

Dr. Lupton advises his patients on what to do in an emergency in advance of the urgent appointment. For instance, in the case of a knocked-out tooth, the person should take care to avoid the tooth's roots when picking it up -- doing so could cause the living tissue to "die" more quickly. If the tooth cannot be temporarily returned to its socket to maintain the tooth's pH balance, it should be placed in either a cup of milk or in a cup of water with a pinch of salt added while traveling to Dr. Lupton's office. The sooner the visit, the more likely it is that the tooth can be re-inserted.

Ipswich dentist Dr. Lupton can often restore chipped or cracked teeth by applying a dental crown. The crown protects the tooth, pulp and root underneath and while giving the appearance of a polished, healthy white tooth. A severe toothache, which often indicates the presence of a dental abscess, can often be resolved with root canal therapy or an extraction and replacement. Despite these relatively simple solutions, some patients still delay coming in for an emergency.

"When it comes to emergency dental care, it really is best to seek treatment as quickly as possible," Dr. Lupton explains. "Even if the condition is not cause for concern, knowing this can provide peace of mind."

Patients in need of an Ipswich emergency dentist are encouraged to contact Limestone Dental Group by calling 07 3281 1466. More information about emergency dental care and procedures is available at the practice's website (www.LimestoneDental.com.au).

The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. Some talk about a DevOps culture but then reference activities that could lead to culture change and there are those that talk about culture change as a set of behaviors that need to be adopted by those in IT. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...

Fundamentally, SDN is still mostly about network plumbing. While plumbing may be useful to tinker with, what you can do with your plumbing is far more intriguing. A rigid interpretation of SDN confines it to Layers 2 and 3, and that's reasonable. But SDN opens opportunities for novel constructions in Layers 4 to 7 that solve real operational problems in data centers. "Data center," in fact, might become anachronistic - data is everywhere, constantly on the move, seemingly always overflowing. Net...
