Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, CEO: Haruo Naito, "Eisai") announced today that it will provide emergency supplies worth approximately 10 million yen in order to support medical operations in the areas affected by the earthquake.
In order for these supplies to be deployed in relief efforts as soon as possible, the supplies will be rapidly delivered through Eisai's Chinese subsidiary Eisai China Inc. primarily to medical facilities in the region.
Eisai sincerely hopes that its activities will help the people affected by the earthquake and prays for the speedy recovery of the afflicted region.
