Eisai Supports Earthquake Relief Efforts in Yunnan, China

Tokyo, Aug 7, 2014 - (JCN Newswire) - Eisai expresses its heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the recent earthquake which occurred in Ludian county of Zhaotong city, Yunnan province, China.

Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, CEO: Haruo Naito, "Eisai") announced today that it will provide emergency supplies worth approximately 10 million yen in order to support medical operations in the areas affected by the earthquake.

In order for these supplies to be deployed in relief efforts as soon as possible, the supplies will be rapidly delivered through Eisai's Chinese subsidiary Eisai China Inc. primarily to medical facilities in the region.
