Digital Agency Essence Welcomes Rob Reifenheiser as North American Head of Media

Reifenheiser to Lead All Media Efforts for Agency's North American Offices

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 08/07/14 -- Global digital agency Essence, the world's largest independent buyer of digital media, today welcomed Rob Reifenheiser as its North American head of media. Reifenheiser is charged with overseeing the agency's programmatic, biddable, planning, campaign management, investment and advertising operations teams across its New York, San Francisco and Seattle offices. He will join Essence's New York location and report to Christian Juhl, the agency's global chief executive officer.

Reifenheiser boasts more than 20 years of experience, most recently serving as executive vice president, managing director at MediaVest. During his tenure, he led the businesses for Wal-Mart, Heineken, Turner Broadcasting System, TD Ameritrade and Microsoft's Windows Phone. Reifenheiser began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was a group planning director for the Procter & Gamble business. He also previously served as managing partner, account director of the American Express and Sprint/Nextel accounts at Mindshare.
