Kirklees Council has selected MDNX to deliver its new Wide Area Network, equipping staff with powerful digital infrastructure which will improve integration and collaboration across the council. The powerful network will help the council provide a highly efficient, joined-up service to its citizens.
MDNX is an independent integrator, providing critical managed networks and cloud computing infrastructure to major UK enterprise, local government and channel partners. Through working with MDNX, Kirklees council benefits from its integration model, meaning best value and greater choice for the council.
Kirklees Council selected MDNX and its services using the PSN Connectivity Framework which simplifies and streamlines the provision of connectivity services for the public sector. The PSN is a 'network of networks' forming part of the government's commitment to save taxpayers £500 million this year, by improving efficiencies in IT spending.
Simon Holmyard is Head of Public Sector for MDNX and Easynet, which was acquired by MDNX in December 2013.
