Vantage Data Centers (Vantage) announced today that it can now offer enterprise customers access to the growing Level 3 Cloud Connect Solutions ecosystem. The new agreement will allow customers in Vantage’s Santa Clara data center to privately connect to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and other cloud service providers. The benefits of a private connection include reduced latency for mission-critical apps and lower bandwidth costs when moving large workloads in and out of the cloud.
“We have seen increased interest in hybrid cloud-data center solutions from our customers, and we are working with Level 3 Cloud Connect Solutions to respond to that demand,” said Greg Vernon, Senior Vice President of Sales for Vantage. “Many customers have applications that exist partially in their data center and partially in the cloud. This connectivity between Vantage and Level 3 makes it much easier and more cost-effective for businesses to integrate the two.”
Vantage’s campuses in Santa Clara and Quincy, Washington include four enterprise-grade data centers totaling over 100MW of potential capacity. The company’s highly reliable, energy efficient facilities, coupled with advantageous utility costs, provide customers with significant total cost of ownership advantages.
