Sunwing Airlines Announces New Non-Stop Flights From Buffalo to Cancun and Punta Cana This Winter

BUFFALO, NY--(Marketwired - August 12, 2014) - Travelers from Western New York State and Northern Pennsylvania will be able to enjoy an easier escape to the beach this winter with the introduction of two new services from Sunwing Airlines and Vacation Express. Departing from Buffalo Niagara International Airport [BUF] on Saturdays seven-night packages to Cancun International Airport [CUN] will begin January 17, 2015 and operate through May 9, 2015. Seven-night, Saturday departures to Punta Cana International Airport [PUJ] will be available from February 14, 2015 until May 9, 2015. The new routes represent the first direct scheduled international destinations to be offered, increasing the number of airports accessible via a direct connection from Buffalo Niagara International Airport to 22.

Sunwing Airlines' non-stop flights are operated on state-of-the-art 737-800 series aircraft which seat 189 passengers. These "low cost, high frills" flights enable travelers to start off their vacation in style with a complimentary welcome glass of champagne.
