The Airo I-Safe 28 Intrinsically Safe Windows industrial smartphone has achieved further stringent safety certifications -- this time under the EU preferred ATmosphères EXplosives ATEX Directive and the IEC System for Certification to Standards relating to Equipment for use in Explosive Atmospheres (IECEx System) both at the Zone 1 level (II 2 G Ex ib IIB T4 Gb). This is in addition to the UL 913 7th Edition Class 1 Zone 1 and 5th Edition Class 1 Division 1 marks already attained. The Airo I-Safe 28 is now ready for mobilising hazardous environments, globally.
The Airo I-Safe 28 provides cellular, Wi-Fi, Push-to-Talk (PTT), email, independent GPS, alongside additional enterprise features including Airo E-button Emergency lone worker services critical for workforces in hazardous environments.
