PlaceFull Partners with Judy’s Book to Help Merchants Significantly Increase Online Booking Revenue

Two Seattle startup companies, PlaceFull.com and Judy’s Book, have partnered to help small businesses get discovered and booked online. The online booking website PlaceFull.com is rolling out 11 new directories of over fifty thousand merchants to help Judy’s Book consumers get booked online. Merchants using PlaceFull's online booking service often see a 20% increase in bookings and corresponding revenue due to a reduction in missed phone calls. The partnership will allow consumers to search businesses online and book anytime, anywhere using PlaceFull’s booking engine. As part of the partnership, PlaceFull will display Judy’s Book reviews (currently over 1.2 million) on business listings to its consumer audience.

PlaceFull announced its new directories, seeded with data from Judy’s Book, will feature a multitude of professional service providers, such as Photographers, Home Inspectors, Artists, Carpet Cleaners, Painters, Window Cleaners, Roofing Services, Gutter Services, Garage Door Services, Pet Services, and Handyman Services. All merchants in the directory will have a dedicated page, which includes three referral listings, images, reviews, business information, the merchant’s Yelp Reviews and the merchants Judy’s Book Reviews. The merchant will then have the ability to convert their referral listing to real-time bookable listings to make it seamless for consumers to book instantly online.

PlaceFull also announced that merchants that sign up will receive full access to PlaceFull’s online booking capabilities (dashboard, calendar, free mobile app, credit card reader and more), which includes immediate booking on their website and Facebook page. In addition, PlaceFull merchants will have the option to enhance their Judy’s Book profile and drive more traffic to their online booking page.

General Manager of Judy’s Book Ali Alami said, “Many of our merchants are looking for a complete booking solution while our consumers are looking to save time and book on the go. The partnership with PlaceFull fills this need by providing 24x7 online and mobile booking capabilities, helping merchants grow revenues and improve the online experience.”

Founder and CEO of PlaceFull Ryan Hamlin said, “Consumers increasingly expect the ability to book appointments, events and services online. Our application provides merchants the ability to interact with customers online so they never miss calls or revenue opportunities associated with bookings. We are excited to partner with one of the leading Social Search tools available to consumers today to search, review and now book events, activities and services online, in real-time.”

PlaceFull.com is an online booking service that allows small business owners to create and publish bookable listings online, delivering ultimate convenience for both merchants and consumers. Its newly unveiled mobile application with credit card reader allows business owners to take bookings online, in-store, and on-the-go.

Judy’s Book is the Social Search tool that brings the trusted scoop on local places. This Seattle, WA startup has grown to more than one million monthly pageviews and over 600,000 members. Judy’s Book features local reviews, recommendations, and Kidscore on kid-friendly businesses, making it easy to share places with friends and family.
