“The addition of Bruce Johnson is timely as Fortscale enters its next phase of growth and expansion,” said Idan Tendler, CEO & Co-Founder of Fortscale. “Bruce’s proven track record of working with early stage companies and building best in class sales organizations will enable Fortscale to accelerate into the market and help establish the company as a leader in the marketplace. We are excited to have him join the Fortscale team.”

Mr. Johnson comes to Fortscale with a rich history of senior level sales management and business development experience in the cyber security space. Most recently, Mr. Johnson was vice president of worldwide sales at Vormetric where he was instrumental in enabling the company to grow from $7M to over $40 million in revenues from 2008 through 2013. Mr. Johnson has also worked at other leading security companies including Axent, Arcot Systems, and Entercept Security Technologies. Mr. Johnson now brings his more than two decades of security marketplace experience to Fortscale, with the mission to help all types of organizations mitigate the ‘insider threat’.

“The ‘insider threat’ is one of the leading causes of data breach conditions worldwide as malicious internal and external users are using authorized user credentials to make legitimate requests to information, allowing these malicious parties to steal valuable information,” said Bruce Johnson, Vice President of Worldwide Sales, at Fortscale. “Organizations need to develop analytics skills and use effective tools to gain better insights into malicious activity to help mitigate the ‘insider threat.’ Fortscale is demonstrating it has these skills and the big data security analytics solutions to help organizations enhance their threat detection capabilities. I look forward to building a Best-in-Class sales organization that enables Fortscale to rapidly grow and become a leader in this market segment.”

Fortscale, founded in 2012, turns enterprise big data into User Intelligence, making users’ profiles and behavior visible and easy to investigate. Fortscale’s solution offers enterprises a proactive, intelligence-driven approach to cyber security based on big data analytics to help defend themselves against the increasing number of targeted attacks and under the radar cyber campaigns that threaten their valuable intellectual property and financial assets.
