BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Aug. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Right in time for Back to School, Bluetooth electronics maker NOIZY Brands and Efinger Sports debuted 'Designed to Move' TV Campaign. They have teamed up this Summer to promote more physical activity and less video/electronic game-time for all youth and adults. Not too long ago, physical fitness was integral in our daily lives. In less than two generations, physical activity has dropped by 20% in the U.K and 32% in the U.S. "Far too often, in today's world, our kids are spending more time on a gadget than outside in the playground or ball field," says Co-Owner, COO of Efinger Sporting Goods, Evan Greenberg.
The campaign's story premise is around the idea that kids maybe spending time outdoors playing but most certainly not doing any physical activity. More then likely, they are playing on their tablets and phones while eating candy and ice cream. We break up the new normal for these kids by introducing Nick Polnasek of Efingers BMX Team, who grabs their attention by performing amazing fast paced and high-energy bike tricks while listening to his music with his NOIZY Brands wireless earbuds.
The Co-Branded Spot focuses on the importance of physical activity and having fun doing it. In preparation for the campaign, we made a conscious effort to get the parents and children in the Bridgewater Community involved by hosting a casting call at Efinger Sporting Goods Store. Our hope was to get the kids in the area excited about physical activity. It was also a natural fit to collaborate with New York creative agency, Parlour Productions again in launching this campaign, with their background in Action Sports that embody and promote the spirit of physical activity. "We were very excited to partner with NOIZY Brands and Efinger Sports on this spot. As a former professional athlete and a parent myself I understand the importance of encouraging active lifestyles within our Youth" said Director, Ray Mendez.
"More importantly, we wanted the experience to be fun for the budding child actors while also getting our message organically to the children who will see the spot and talk about it at lunch. NOIZY Brands underlying headline is we are Designed To Move and we want you to Get up, Get out and Get Fit" commented Co-Founder of NOIZY Brands, Jerry Chu.
"We also want to let people know that Efinger Sports is the best in class sporting goods store serving every sports enthusiast. We just want everyone to get out there and play something, said Efinger General Manager, Patrick Hoey. "Efinger Sports has been around for 105 years and to have our newest products in their showroom and featured there is a humbling experience for us." Said NOIZY's other Co-Founder, Manish Patel.
Our strategy is to double our media push both on TV and Online since the children are more inclined to view videos on their devices to see it. The New "Designed to Move" Campaign will air starting August 27th on Verizon FiOS, Comcast and Cablevision on ESPN2, ABC Family and Discovery Channels. We will also promote online extended and behind the scene videos to excite kids and motivate them to play outside whether it's riding a bike, skateboard or inline skates.

Scott Jenson leads a project called The Physical Web within the Chrome team at Google. Project members are working to take the scalability and openness of the web and use it to talk to the exponentially exploding range of smart devices. But if we really believe there will be trillions of these devices, that just can't scale. We need a system that is open a scalable and by using ...

The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. Some talk about a DevOps culture but then reference activities that could lead to culture change and there are those that talk about culture change as a set of behaviors that need to be adopted by those in IT. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...
