IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 08/19/14 -- Content syndication and monetization company, Adaptive Medias, Inc. (OTCQB: ADTM), a leader in programmatic advertising across mobile, video and online display, announced today that it has extended its content syndication footprint to include the ability to publish on Facebook.
Through its successful integration, premium content providers and publishers can now share their video content directly on their Facebook Pages through Adaptive Media's dashboard. The integration allows people who use Facebook to discover premium video content where they most spend their time.
"Expanding the audience for video content syndication through our Facebook integration is a natural next step for us," said Adaptive Media CEO Qayed Shareef. "We already have the social sharing capabilities baked into our video player, and being one of the first content platforms to allow video content to be published directly on Facebook Pages is exciting. We're constantly looking into ways for people to engage with premium video content wherever they happen to be browsing, through whatever device they are browsing on."
As of June 2014, Facebook has 829 million daily active users, with 654 million daily active mobile users. According to eMarketer, the U.S. mobile advertising market will reach $17.7 billion this year, with Facebook itself projected to comprise about 18% of the market. comScore reported numbers show that as of March 2014, Facebook's video content views had increased by more than 500% compared to the prior year, and the amount of time viewers spent watching videos on its site nearly tripled.
