"Bluetooth beacons technology is changing so rapidly, it can be difficult to keep up and discern marketing hype from reality," said Anthony Garone, Director of Technology at meltmedia. Hundreds of businesses have already adopted beacons technology, including American Airlines, American Eagle Outfitters, Hillshire Brands and more. meltmedia is working to help companies in the Phoenix area implement beacons. By presenting at several local events, they are raising awareness for both businesses and consumers.

meltmedia will also present a beacons workshop at the Marketing Technology Summit on August 21st. The Arizona Technology Council (AZTC) and the Phoenix Chapter of the Business Marketing Association (BMA) are hosting the event at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas. More than 300 business-to-business (b2b) marketing, sales and technology professionals from Arizona and the Southwest will congregate for this intense program featuring top-tier educational content and networking with industry leaders, member organizations and partners.

"There has been a lot of buzz around Bluetooth beacons but not many people have a good handle on how to deploy them effectively," said the Arizona Technology Council. "During the workshop, you will learn how this new tech can benefit businesses by connecting their digital marketing and services to people in the real world."
