Joseph E. Cordell Installed as the 51st President of the AAA-CPA

ST. LOUIS, Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Joseph E. Cordell, principal partner of domestic litigation firm Cordell & Cordell, was installed as the 51st president of the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants (AAA-CPA). Mr. Cordell was installed on Saturday, July 6, 2014 during the organization's 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting, which was held in Huntington Beach, CA. Previously, Domenick Lioce held the position.

Mr. Cordell received his B.S. in accountancy from Oklahoma State University and received his juris doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law. He is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and holds a Missouri CPA license. Mr. Cordell has also received his LL.M. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

While practicing general law, Mr. Cordell realized most of his clients were coming to Cordell & Cordell with domestic relations issues.

"During the course of that experience, I couldn't help but notice the challenges consistently facing the guy's side of the table when it comes to custody, maintenance issues and accusations of domestic violence," Mr. Cordell said. "I found in waging those fights that I enjoyed it more. So, we proclaimed ourselves as a firm that devoted itself to representing men in domestic relations matters."

Today, Cordell & Cordell is the nation's largest domestic litigation firm focusing on representing men in family law cases. Perceptually, men are at a disadvantage in family courts, but Cordell & Cordell has established itself as a leader in family law devoted to equal rights for men facing divorce.

The AAA-CPA is the only organization comprised of individuals who are dually qualified as attorneys and certified public accountants. The AAA-CPA provides its members with quality education, opportunities to connect and the professional resources to support and develop their practices.

What are the considerations for how to select the right cloud model? And how does that fit in with the overall IT transformation?
You use an agile process; your goal is to make your organization more agile. But what about your data infrastructure? The truth is, today's databases are anything but agile - they are effectively static repositories that are cumbersome to work with, difficult to change, and cannot keep pace with application demands. Performance suffers as a result, and it takes far longer than it should to deliver new features and capabilities needed to make your organization competitive. As your application an...
