L.A. Charter School Blaze is a Grim Reminder of the Dangers of Structural Fires

Fire safety companies like Global Fire Technologies help property owners to avoid the sort of damage caused to the South Animo Charter School

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In Southern California, this has been a particularly harsh summer for fire danger, with various structural fire serving as a reminder of the importance of the top-grade commercial fire alarm systems from Tujunga to Downtown L.A. provided by such firms as Global Fire Technologies, Inc.. One of the most dramatic of these fires broke out late last month at Animo South Los Angeles Charter High School, causing enough damage that the school was declared "a total loss," according to officials.

"The fire's origin was in the attic," said Rick Flores, the Los Angeles County Fire Department Inspector. "The cause was determined to be an electrical problem whose origin was not specifically known." The Los Angeles Times reports that since classes were not yet in session, there were no students, staff, or teachers on campus. However, three firefighters suffered minor injuries. In the wake of the devastating fire, administrators and teachers will no doubt be experiencing even more stress than usual – an issue that is certainly in no short supply in the challenging Los Angeles school system. If there is any silver lining when a severe structural fire breaks out, it can only be that it serves as an important reminder of the necessity of fire prevention measures from an expert fire safety team.

Throughout Los Angeles, property managers and administrators for a variety of structures, including commercial buildings, health facilities, and residential dwellings, government buildings and schools have come to trust Global Fire Technologies, Inc. The acclaimed fire protection provider boasts a history of excellent results while providing services that include engineering, installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment like home fire alarms in Tujunga and other Los Angeles County areas.

Even more than most large, heavily populated cities, Los Angeles requires properties to adhere to strict regulations and fire codes. As the Animo South fire proves, these regulations are vitally important in the region, but for property owners and building managers, the complexity of these rules can cause serious headaches. Yet, as a fire safety facility that is fully insured and bonded with all the necessary licenses and certifications, the experts at Global Fire can prove exceptionally useful at making certain that their customer's property is fully up-to-code, and those under their care are protected.

As any property owner is well aware, there is plenty to think about without having to worry about the potentially expensive and dangerous consequences of uncontrolled fire. That's why Global Fire clients are always grateful to learn that the company boasts an exceptional 95% customer retention and satisfaction rate. Simply put, if you're looking to protect your investments, and those under your care in Southern California, Global Fire Technologies, Inc. can offer the fire safety equipment, inspection and testing you need. The fire protection company in Tujunga can be contacted by calling 818-330-7136, or visit the company's web site at GloFireTech.com.

DevOps is about increasing efficiency, but nothing is more inefficient than building the same application twice. However, this is a routine occurrence with enterprise applications that need both a rich desktop web interface and strong mobile support. With recent technological advances from Isomorphic Software and others, it is now feasible to create a rich desktop and tuned mobile experience with a single codebase, without compromising performance or usability.
Thanks to Docker, it becomes very easy to leverage containers to build, ship, and run any Linux application on any kind of infrastructure. Docker is particularly helpful for microservice architectures because their successful implementation relies on a fast, efficient deployment mechanism – which is precisely one of the features of Docker. Microservice architectures are therefore becoming more popular, and are increasingly seen as an interesting option even for smaller projects, instead of bein...
