PALO ALTO, California, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TuneIn, the world's largest audio network, today announced expanded coverage of Barclays Premier League through talkSPORT. Football fans around the world will be able to listen to live matches and commentary in English, Spanish, and Mandarin for free on TuneIn.
The 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season is expected to be another close one, with all five big sides beginning the season with realistic hopes of winning. This year, TuneIn will carry all 380 matches from talkSPORT, to listeners outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Listeners within the UK can access select Premier League matches each week through the main talkSPORT Channel on TuneIn.
Fans can tune in this weekend – with big matches on Saturday including Chelsea v Leicester, Everton v Arsenal, and on Sunday with Sunderland v Manchester United. Beyond all 380 live matches, football fans can listen in all season long for sports commentary and interviews with fan favorites like Yaya Toure, Robin van Persie, Tim Howard, and Lukas Podolski.
This agreement with talkSPORT will add even more award-winning sports conversation and live football to TuneIn's vast and quickly growing international sports offering. This has already been a big year for sports on TuneIn - the 2014 World Cup became TuneIn's biggest, single listening event to date, with 10.5 million people from around the world using TuneIn to listen live to the World Cup.
