Forceworks adds Microsoft SharePoint Online to RapidStart (Press Release)

Tampa, Florida— August 22 2014Forceworks, is pleased to announce the addition of RapidStartTM for SharePoint Online. Following the tremendous success of their RapidStartTM for Dynamics CRM Online, Forceworks has extended the model to include SharePoint Online.

RapidStart is a fixed scope, fixed fee deployment model built around best practices and leveraging knowledge gained from hundreds of custom deployments. “What we found is that most customers, particularly in the SMB space, have similar SharePoint requirements”, said Steve Mordue, CEO of Forceworks, “this is the same realization that drove our RapidStart for Dynamics CRM Online program”.

SharePoint Online is included with most Office 365 plans and since Office 365 is Microsoft’s fastest growing product in history, there are a lot of businesses that already have access to SharePoint Online. “SharePoint Online is an incredibly underutilized platform” said Mordue, “Many customers, and even other partners, have no idea where to even start”. RapidStart, as the name implies, is an easy way for a business to get up-and-running quickly, with most of the typically requested intranet capabilities, at a low fixed cost. RapidStart for SharePoint Online is available in a Basic version for smaller businesses and a Basic Plus version for midsized businesses. “The way we are able to keep the cost so low is by initially limiting the customer’s options” said Mordue, “but, once a good foundation is in place, a customer can further customize to their heart’s content, or have us help them further extend the capabilities of SharePoint”. Another way the cost is kept low is by keeping the development team out of the RapidStart deployment process. While RapidStart for SharePoint Online was developed by Forceworks’ Microsoft Certified senior SharePoint developers, it is deployed for customers by junior technicians.

“We have been piloting this for a few months now” said Mordue, “and we feel like we have perfected the model, based on our pilot customers’ feedback, so we are making this widely available beginning August 25th”. Partners can apply now to resell RapidStart for SharePoint Online and RapidStart for Dynamics CRM Online at Forceworks’ website.

Forceworks offers RapidStart for both SharePoint Online and Dynamics CRM Online direct to customers as well as through a network of Microsoft Partners nationwide. It is also available at a further reduced cost for Microsoft qualified, Non-Profit organizations.
