Water Systems Council Partners with ETR Laboratories to Offer 25% Discount on Health Scan Water Well Testing Kit

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Private water well owners are being encouraged to test their wells through a special offer by ETR Laboratories and the Water Systems Council that provides a 25% discount on the price of a Health Scan Water Well Testing Kit, one of the most comprehensive water tests available.

The Water Systems Council recommends annual testing of private water wells for bacteria and other elements that could pose a health risk to households served by wells.  If you live in an area that has experienced recent flooding, your well could contain contamination from pollutants carried by floodwater.  If you live in a drought-stricken area, your well water quality may have changed due to declining water well yields.

The ETR Labs Health Scan includes a complete microbiological analysis to detect bacteria, mold, fungi or parasites that could pose a health risk.  The scan also includes checking for six metals, 19 inorganic parameters -- including radon --and 61 volatile organic compounds usually found in common household products.

Private water well owners can access this special offer online at WSC Health Scan Special using discount code: 38WD66, or by calling ETR Labs at 800-344-9977 and mentioning this offer.  The offer is good through September 3, 2014.

Well owners can also join the wellcare® Well Owners Network to receive discounts on water test kits, unlimited access to the wellcare® Hotline (888-395-1033), quarterly newsletters with tips and tools to maintain wells and protect well water, and more than 90 information sheets that provide detailed information on caring for well systems, septic systems and well water.  Membership is free.
