Right On Interactive (ROI) announced today the expansion of its customer lifecycle marketing solution with the addition of Progressive Profiling, providing marketers the ability to gather valuable data about potential customers while simultaneously boosting online form conversion rates.
Research shows, online form conversion rates decrease dramatically with the addition of each new field. Shorter forms result in a better experience for visitors and tend to generate higher conversion rates because the barrier to consumption is minimal.
Progressive Profiling allows users to easily create dynamic fields that cycle and rotate to replace ones that have already been completed by the same individual returning to the form. The platform enables marketers to generate more leads by keeping online forms at the recommended number of 4-6 fields per form, while gaining deeper information about potential customers as they return and submit more information in new fields.
“Marketers have long struggled for ways to optimize their online forms without sacrificing their ability to gather valuable customer information,” said Troy Burk, CEO and founder of Right On Interactive. “With the introduction of Progressive Profiling, we are enabling marketers to increase the value of their online forms and gain valuable information about potential leads over time.”
ROI’s Progressive Profiling solution enables marketers to:
- Create fewer forms by housing many dynamic fields on a single form.
- Gain valuable information about potential leads over time on the same form using the recommended 4-6 fields.
- Increase form conversion rates by maintaining the lowest number of fields possible per form.
Additionally, users have the ability to choose which fields are progressive and which are static on the form. This feature allows returning users to feel more comfortable if one or more of the “basic” fields (such as name or email) remain on a form every time while the other fields are progressively swapped out.

Scott Jenson leads a project called The Physical Web within the Chrome team at Google. Project members are working to take the scalability and openness of the web and use it to talk to the exponentially exploding range of smart devices. Nearly every company today working on the IoT comes up with the same basic solution: use my server and you'll be fine. But if we really believe there will be trillions of these devices, that just can't scale. We need a system that is open a scalable and by using ...

The cloud has transformed how we think about software quality. Instead of preventing failures, we must focus on automatic recovery from failure. In other words, resilience trumps traditional quality measures. Continuous delivery models further squeeze traditional notions of quality. Remember the venerable project management Iron Triangle? Among time, scope, and cost, you can only fix two or quality will suffer. Only in today's DevOps world, continuous testing, integration, and deployment upend...
