Harwood Feffer LLP Announces Investigation of XRS Corp.

NEW YORK, Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of XRS Corp. ("XRS" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: XRSC) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by Omnitracs LLC ("Omnitracs") in a transaction valued at approximately $178 million.

On September 2, 2014, XRS announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which the Company will be acquired by Omnitracs. Under the terms of the agreement, XRS stockholders will receive $5.60 a share for each XRS share held.
