Superfish, a pioneer in visual search technology, today unveiled LikeThat Décor, a mobile app and desktop solution that allows consumers to search millions of items from thousands of merchants to find home furnishings by using images rather than keywords.

“Visual search is an entirely new way of exploring our world and expressing ourselves,” said Adi Pinhas, CEO and founder of Superfish. “LikeThat Décor empowers people to use images of items that interest them and instantly see similar items so they can quickly and easily make design decisions.”
LikeThat Décor is free and available at the Apple app store or www.LikeThatApps.com.
LikeThat Décor uses Superfish’s patented technology to turn aspirational photos – which people often find difficult to describe – into decorating reality. Users take pictures, or upload photos from websites like Pinterest and Houzz, or select photos from the LikeThat Décor gallery, and the app does everything else – displaying visually similar items, and providing product specifications and shopping details.
“LikeThat Décor literally opens up a world of possibilities,” said Donna Hoffman, owner of Interiors by Donna Hoffman and founder of the design lover education site TheInteriorDesignAdvocate. “It can save dozens of hours on a project. It makes the entire design process, including fabric and carpet selection, more efficient and less stressful. This is the most exciting technology innovation I’ve seen in home design in a long time.”
A “how to” video about LikeThat Décor is available on YouTube, and an Android version of the software will be available later this year.
Superfish is a pioneer in visual search. Through its patented technology, Superfish is transforming the way images are searched, seen, utilized and shared. Its PetMatch and ShopScout apps are used by millions of consumers worldwide. Founded by Adi Pinhas and Michael Chertok, Superfish is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, and is backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ).

A team was facing a stodgy, slow-moving operations department, teams weren’t delivering software on time. Those teams moved to DevOps, became proactive about infrastructure and deployment automation, and an overnight transition to productivity ensues. People are promoted, projects are successful, and developers and system administrators dance hand-in-hand in a final...
