The dealerships were purchased by John Jomehri who renamed the dealerships to Mojave Auto Group South Inc.
The four dealerships purchased in the transaction include:
- Soutar's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram
- Soutar's Toyota
- Soutar's Nissan
- Soutar's Ford
The sale of NAPA Auto Parts in Barstow, CA, was also included in the transaction.
With over 50 years of business and community involvement in Barstow, CA, it's little surprise that the Soutar family is widely respected in the community. In fact, George Soutar has stated the Toyota dealership is the second oldest in the nation, and the oldest dealership in all of California. With the successful transition of Soutar holdings to Jomehri, the dealerships' names have been changed to Mojave Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Toyota, Nissan and Ford.
