BERLIN and KARLSRUHE, Germany, September 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Disy Informationssysteme GmbH will present GIS 2go at INTERGEO 2014. GIS 2go is a novel solution for mobile GIS. It transfers maps from ArcGIS Desktop to an iPad or Android tablet. With the novel GIS-app, users can access their own maps while they are in the field - even without internet connection, e.g. in rural areas. For more information about GIS 2go, visit http://www.gis2go.com.

Disy Informationssysteme GmbH, the leading provider of innovative GIS solutions in Germany, will be presenting the new version of its GIS 2go software at INTERGEO, the world's largest conference and trade fair for geodesy, geoinformation and land management. From 7 - 9 October 2014, visitors can experience GIS 2go live and meet with experts and developers in person at stand B3.026 in hall 3.1.
GIS 2go is the world's first mobile GIS solution with which maps from ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop can simply be taken along on the tablet (iPad or Android). The GIS 2go Add-in controls the data selection, the map export and the re-import in ArcGIS Desktop. On the tablet, the GIS app allows access to the maps with all feature data - be it with or without an internet connection. Even graphic notes and media created on the go are taken over into ArcGIS Desktop.
On the tablet, users can move interactively on the map; display feature attributes; add points, lines and areas with the graphic notebook; or track via GPS; augment the map with photos and audio/video clips or simply use text to comment on it. The remotely recorded information can be imported into ArcGIS Desktop and taken over into the data storage.
Those who are interested can request a personal demo account from http://www.gis2go.com and conduct a non-binding test free of charge on a mobile device.
The developers can be visited at INTERGEO 2014, Berlin, October 7 - 9, 2014, hall 3.1, stand B3.026.

The term culture has had a polarizing effect among DevOps supporters. Some propose that culture change is critical for success with DevOps, but are remiss to define culture. Some talk about a DevOps culture but then reference activities that could lead to culture change and there are those that talk about culture change as a set of behaviors that need to be adopted by those in IT. There is no question that businesses successful in adopting a DevOps mindset have seen departmental culture change, ...

The security devil is always in the details of the attack: the ones you've endured, the ones you prepare yourself to fend off, and the ones that, you fear, will catch you completely unaware and defenseless. The Internet of Things (IoT) is nothing if not an endless proliferation of details. It's the vision of a world in which continuous Internet connectivity and addressability is embedded into a growing range of human artifacts, into the natural world, and even into our smartphones, appliances, a...

One challenge that faces every WebRTC deployment (in some form or another) is identity management. Service providers will w...
