The curtains rose for the first time on December 30th exclusively at 28 Cineplex Entertainment theatres in Canada as opera fans enjoyed Mozart's Magic Flute in the comfort of their local theatre as the first of six Metropolitan Opera performances was broadcast live via satellite in HD from Lincoln Center in New York.
