“Matt is a digital marketing and programmatic pioneer who brings a wealth of knowledge and digital acumen to MediaLink and our partners,” said Michael Kassan, Chairman and CEO, MediaLink. “He is coming onboard at an important time both for MediaLink and the industry; his long experience and native fluency in programmatic will strengthen our practice to ensure our partners stay at the forefront of this emerging and critical space. We could not be happier to welcome him to our leadership team.”

Spiegel served as SVP, GM of the Americas for MediaMath, where he led its enterprise technology revenue operations in North and South America. Prior to MediaMath, he held multiple roles at Omnicom having first joined the company when Omnicom acquired Resolution Media, the search marketing business he founded. Later as CEO of Omnicom Media Group Digital, Spiegel developed the business model, launched, and initially ran Accuen Omnicom’s trading desk. Spiegel started his career in advertising sales and brings nearly 20 years of digital media experience to MediaLink.

In his new role, Matt will work to further develop MediaLink’s marketing and technology solutions practice and provide the strategic direction and the operational know-how today’s marketers need to successfully navigate the intersection of marketing and media with technology and data.

“As programmatic continues to dominate the industry dialogue, we’re confident Matt will be the perfect translator for our partners’ growing businesses, helping them navigate the potential and pitfalls of each new development,” said Wenda Harris Millard, President and COO, MediaLink.

“I'm thrilled to join MediaLink at a time of such rapid industry evolution,” said Spiegel. “MediaLink has a fantastic track record of developing actionable strategies for its partners. For companies across the marketing and media spectrum, the next big area of need is to understand how to infuse their marketing or media business with technology automation and rich intelligence about their consumers. This includes all things ‘programmatic’ and collectively is a set of topics I’ve focused on most of my career. MediaLink is taking a leading position by prioritizing this discipline and I look forward to being part of the team.”

Spiegel will lead MediaLink’s new Chicago office; his appointment is effective immediately.
