LAVAL, QUEBEC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/19/07 -- Gee-Ten Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE: GTV) (Gee-Ten, the Corporation) announces the appointment of M. Evariste Nyembwe Mutombo, a Congolese resident, as Vice-President, Operations, in the Democratic Republic of Congo "D.R.C."

M. Mutombo holds a diploma in Civil Engineering and Mines from the University of Lubumbashi, DRC.

The first undertaking of Mr Mutombo will be to create Gee-Ten's Congolese subsidiary, Gee-Ten Ventures S.P.R.L. He will then be in charge of assembling the technical team, managing the exploration logistic and eventually, the exploitation of current and future diamond properties.

The creation of this team combined to the expertise of Diacorp Group Inc. will allow the company to plan the development of its projects in DRC in the most efficient way. Furthermore, Gee-Ten now has in place the administrative and legal infrastructure required for its operation and compliance to the Mining Code.
