If you've longed for more documentation on how to get the most from the ColdFusion Studio editing tool, Allaire has heard you. There have been two recent updates to the documentation that you may have missed.
First, in 4.01, Allaire split the Studio documentation from the Developing Web Applications guide, and created a new Using ColdFusion Studio book. This, like all the Allaire docs, is available from within Studio's Help tab (or the Help command on the command menu).
Many may have missed that, since it was a change in the little-highlighted 4.01 maintenance release. Even more, most probably didn't notice that the guide has undergone significant change in 4.5. It has grown from 8 to 12 chapters, with more introductory and setup material, a new Getting Started chapter, as well as new chapters on Learning HTML and CSS, Getting the Most from the Help System, and Best Practices for Coding HTML and CFML, as well as updates for all the new 4.5 features.
For another take on Studio documentation, don't miss Ben Forta's book, Teach Yourself HomeSite in 24 Hours. While it's Studio's sister (or parent, one may say) product, everything in HomeSite is in Studio. Ben's even added a few chapters at the end of the book on Studio itself.
