In addition to the direct cost savings, the companies indicated they also gained major benefits to their organizations in the areas of risk mitigation, brand protection, and preservation of market value. The findings focused on tangible benefits using GAAP-compliant ROI calculations, and did not attempt to assign dollar values to these benefits.
