CREDANT Technologies(R) Expands Federal Team
Leader in Mobile Data Security Adds Six Members, Meets Federal Market Demands

By: Marketwire .

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/06/07 -- CREDANT Technologies, the market leader in mobile data protection solutions, announced today that it is adding six Information Technology (IT) and sales professionals to its growing federal practice. The expansion is a direct result of the company's success in the federal marketplace and supports the government's increased requirements for mobile data security.

"Recent federal mandates are forcing agencies to ensure security in all mobile devices," said Bob Heard, founder and CEO of CREDANT. "As the leader in mobile data protection, we have responded to these requirements by increasing the breadth and depth of the talent on our federal team. We are excited about the new opportunities these six key individuals bring to CREDANT, and look forward to continuing to meet the mission-critical needs of defense and federal civilian agencies."

New federal practice team members include:

-- James J. Clements as a Federal Account Executive, where he will manage
CREDANT activity within specific named accounts in both defense and
civilian agencies. Mr. Clements brings to CREDANT over 20 years of sales
and sales management experience including executive leadership positions
with Surety LLC, Pointsec Mobile Technologies, Inc., Visix Software Inc.,
    and InterCon Systems.

-- Donald B. Moran as the DoD/Intelligence Business Manager, where he will
handle numerous accounts, including the Army, Navy, Marines and the
Intelligence Community. Mr. Moran brings to CREDANT 20 years of sales and
sales management experience in the defense and federal civilian marketplace
including positions as Federal Sales Director and Federal Civilian Sales
Manager for Brocade Communications Systems. His prior experience also
includes leadership positions at Storageway, Network Storage Solutions,
IBM/Transare Corporation, MTI Corporation, and EMC Corporation.

-- Diane M. Pearson as a Federal Account Executive, where she will be
responsible for managing CREDANT accounts with existing federal civilian
agencies and developing new relationships to build the civilian customer
base. A seasoned sales executive, Ms. Pearson brings to CREDANT 20 years
of enterprise sales experience. Prior to joining CREDANT, Ms. Pearson held
executive account management positions at ProSight, Inc., IBM, Bowstreet,
Inc., Tivoli Systems Inc./IBM, Legent Corporation, and AT&T.

-- Benjamin M. Rand as a sales engineer, where he is responsible for
analyzing customer requirements, crafting individualized proposals, and
delivering technical presentations, drawing upon his experience with
federal compliance issues. Mr. Rand works directly with prospects and
customers to execute proof of concept implementations. He is a highly
accomplished IT and sales professional with a solid background in meeting
federal customer requirements. Mr. Rand's prior experience includes
positions with increased levels of responsibility at Meridio Inc., COOP
    Systems, and American Management Systems.

-- Alison S. Rowe as an Inside Sales Executive, where she will work closely
with the entire federal team to develop a solid pipeline of prospects
within all branches of the government. Ms. Rowe's prior experience
includes public sector sales and marketing positions with e-Security,
Inc./Novell, Citadel Security Software, and Cognos.

-- Robert Rubeck as a Deployment Engineer with the Client Services Team
where he will be responsible for customer deployment engagements with
federal civilian and defense accounts. An experienced IT professional with
a track record of success meeting federal customer needs, Mr. Rubeck's
prior experience includes positions with Alta IT Services/EDS,
International Monetary Fund, Computer Associates, and Service USA.

"The talent and experience of our expanded team -- combined with the strength of our policy-based intelligent encryption solutions -- will ultimately benefit the security of the federal government and the American taxpayer," said Heard. "We welcome them aboard."

CREDANT reported record 2006 earnings attributed, in part, to its success in the government sector. Federal customers include the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and U.S. Army Medical Command, among others.
