(www.sys-con.com) opened Web Services Edge 2002 East --International Web Services Conference & Expo today to a packed house of delegates attending the pre-conference program. This year, Web Services Edge East is co-located with JDJEdge 2002 East -- International Java Developer Conference & Expo and XMLEdge 2002 East -- International XML Conference & Expo. The four-day i-technology event will take place through Thursday, June 27, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
Expo floor activities, Conference keynotes, and the Conference special events will begin tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25. Attendance throughout the course of the week is estimated to exceed 5,000 delegates (www.sys-con.com/webservicesedge2002east).
Now in its second year, Web Services Edge 2002 -- International Web Services Conference & Expo has established itself as the world's largest international Web services event. To accommodate the tremendous growth in participation, this year's event has moved to New York's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, more than doubling last year's Expo hall space from 14,000 square feet to over 36,000 square feet.
