EL SEGUNDO, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation announced today that since Jan. 1, its Federal Sector business unit has signed 62 previously unannounced contracts and subcontracts during its fiscal 2007 fourth quarter, which ended March 30. These contracts have a total estimated value of $1.28 billion if all contract options are exercised.

The performance periods for the contracts range from three months to eight years. Civil agencies accounted for 28 awards with a total value of approximately $811 million. Department of Defense agencies accounted for 34 awards with a total value of approximately $474 million.

Services performed by CSC under these previously unannounced contracts include a wide range of information technology (IT) services, including analysis, systems integration and modernization, consulting, engineering, outsourcing, training, maintenance and logistics support for a diverse base of clients in the intelligence communities; the Departments of the Navy, Army and Air Force; the Missile Defense Agency; Health and Human Services; the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of State.

All expressed contract award terms and values represent the amounts that CSC expects to receive from the agreements if all options are exercised.
