Improving the Efficiency of SOA-Based Applications
jhv1blz5 wrote: The article validated SOA as an IT architecture paradigm that can be leveraged in many ways. Taking data storage, scalability and application performance to a nifty level using SOA Application Grid infrastructure will no doubt enhance data and application performance on Oracle architecture platforms, it also has the promise of a cost effective and efficient IT delivery model. The very benefits of SOA.

Prevalent Devices Announces The Phraze-It Keyboard 2.0 for Stylus-Free On-Screen Data Entry into Pocket PCs to Bring the Benefits of Finger Typing at a Desktop to PDA Mobile Phones and PDAs

NEW YORK, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Prevalent Devices LLC announced the new Phraze-It(R) Keyboard 2.0 for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Pocket PC phones. The Phraze-It Keyboard 2.0 features a complete computer keyboard for typing with your index fingers or holding and thumbing with the same hand directly on fifteen large keys displayed on the touch screen. Accurate, easy to use on- screen keys let mobile users have an equivalent desktop experience on their PDAs and PDA phones. The Phraze-It Keyboard is a very effective method for typing complete documents with your index fingers to create longer documents by typing full reports, memoranda, notes, emails, and text messages. Prevalent Devices created a full computer keyboard with 15 large on-screen typing and thumbing keys for PDA phones because having a full QWERTY on a handheld size device with tiny keys and multiple characters is awkward and unwieldy for mobile productivity.

Typing with your index fingers on large on-screen keys is an easy, comfortable and accurate way to type longer text. In addition to enabling typing with index fingers, the Phraze-It Keyboard 2.0 also offers PDA phone owners to enter text holding and thumbing with the same hand.

Uniquely, the user friendly, intuitive and innovative Phraze-It Keyboard is very easy to retain due to the patented logic and order of the familiar A, E, I, O and U keys. Prevalent Devices is also pleased to announce that a third data input patent has now been issued.

Phraze-It(R) offers a complete computer keyboard on the touch screen of your Pocket PC. Enter letters, punctuation, symbols, numbers, Internet and email symbols easily. The Premium Keyboard features fifteen large finger typing keys: three rows of on-screen keys, each row with five large finger keys for typing with your index finger or thumbing. In addition to large touch screen keys, the Phraze-It Keyboard 2.0 for Pocket PC also features at least five lines of text above the keyboard to view and edit the text that has been entered. Enjoy browsing or creating text messages or emails and finger typing into your favorite Microsoft applications using the Phraze-It Keyboard.

Sales forces, mobile professionals, field personnel, health professionals, students and other mobile users can leave their laptops at home and experience true mobile productivity. Tiny QWERTY keyboards, stylus writing and telephone keypads are awkward and ineffective data input methods for entering lengthier text, so we invented the Phraze-It(R) Keyboard to use for typing complete text. The Phraze-It Keyboard is perfect for typing reports, memoranda, notes, homework or when you need to type 25 to 125 words while sitting in the middle seat of an airplane or on a train or bus.

When you are standing on a sidewalk and need to input by holding and thumbing with the same hand, the Phraze-It Keyboard is your choice, because you would not input by holding and thumbing with the same hand using a slide out small key QWERTY. Unlike a cell phone keypad where you have to thumbpress 4 or more keys for some characters, the Phraze-It Keyboard offers easy text entry and computer keyboard functionality including the space, backspace and enter keys.

The Phraze-It Keyboard is a perfect keyboard for the mobile connectivity lifestyle offered by PDA phones. Enjoy mobile typing for text messaging, emailing and browsing. Users concerned about repetitive thumb stress from their thumb boards with tiny keys now have the choice of typing with their index fingers or thumbing.

The Phraze-It Keyboard 2.0 sets a new standard for data entry into PDA phones such as the Cingular 8525, PPC 6700, Samsung SCH-i730, Sprint IP 830W, T-Mobile MDA, Verizon Wireless XV6700, i-mate PPC, HTC and a host of others, as well as PDAs such as the IPAQ, AXIM and more. The Phraze-It(R) Keyboard 2.0 is Designed for Windows Mobile(R) 5 logo certified and is also compatible with 2003 models.

The Phraze-It(R) Keyboard 2.0 optimizes input into full screen PDA phones that are becoming increasingly popular for their media capabilities. Now, there is no need to bulk up the thickness of PDA phones with expensive slide out QWERTY keyboards or sacrifice screen space with QWERTY thumb boards.

In addition, the Phraze-It(R) Keyboard 2.0 supports entering text simply in English, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew (with language software), Italian, Spanish and Swedish.

Also, as a bonus, Prevalent Devices creates and bundles the enormously entertaining Phraze-It(R) Game with each download. The Phraze-It Game was specially created for the Phraze-It Keyboard. Featuring topics that range from celebrities and current events to history, music, movies and other fun topics, the Phraze-It Game challenges players to convert a string of vowels into words and phrases while playing against par. If you like crossword puzzles or Sudoku, you will love The Phraze-It(R) Game. The Phraze-It(R) Game can be found in the Games Menu of Pocket PCs loaded with our text entry application.
